VAULT BY VANS - NICOLE MCLAUGHLIN LAUNCH EVENT
Vault by Vans Vans collaborated with designer and multidisciplinary artist Nicole McLaughlin on a functional gardening shoe inspired product. Working closely with the artist, I thoughtfully produced and operated the global launch event to reflect Nicole’s core values. We repurposed fabric from the collection, sourced and hired vendors with likeminded principles, and turned the Vans DTLA store into a “Farmer’s Market” complete with custom chainstitching from Large Lemonade, bagels from Courage Bagels, plant adoptions from local plant experts Latinx With Plants, a custom fabric plant wall by pro surfer Noah Collins, and coffee from Amigo Roasters. Along with the overall production design, vendor booths were custom designed and fabricated. Also handled guest lists, invites, flyer assets, and more.
Singlehandedly oversaw all aspects of the event and launch, including fabrication, creative direction, vendors, production design, logistics, staffing, etc.
